Construction of hotels and resorts being developed in almost all countries. But not all built from scratch, some are just remodeled and made more modern. But have you ever saw and knew that the former used as a prison airplane or hotel?

Here are seven hotels with an infatuated world history:

Jumbo Stay Hostel (Stockholm, Sweden)
Jumbo Stay Hostel opened in January 2009. This hotel is a former 747-212B jumbo long disabled. But since 1976, renovated with interior design is completely new and modern.   So, if you want to enjoy a comfortable rest on the plane without having to be in the air, there's no harm in trying this one hotel.

Old Mount Gambier Gaol (Mount Gambier, Australia) you do not have to be a criminal to spend the night in jail. Old Mount Gambier Gaol is a former prison that stands in 1866 and closed as a prison in 1995. Then converted into two sections. Rooms cell and non-cell that caters to travelers of all ages. In addition to the main prison building, guests have access to the prison library, chapel, and a lounge, which is now a common room with internet, color TV and a sofa. In the kitchen, you'll find tea, coffee, sugar and milk.

old house used as Hong Wen School in Singapore, really nothing special. But Mr Loh Lik Peng, a hotelier known for unusual tastes, bought the four-story building in 2008. Since then, the building has been converted into a luxury hotel 29 rooms. Now goes by the name of "Wanderlust", and prides itself on its four thematic levels. Wanderlust perhaps the former creative school building converted into a hotel.

Shrigley Hall Hotel (Cheshire, United Kingdom)
was originally built to house a family, then turned into a missionary college for the kids.Now in the main part of the church's existing pool. Who would ever think to swim in the church? Well here's the place.

Alma Domus (Siena, Italy)
Hotel Alma Domus is a drying room in the medieval wool or around 1300's. In 1976, the building was converted into a hotel, but keep the original. Inside the building, there are still remnants of the old mill, such as a tool that lifting big rolls.
