1. Ludwig Van Beethoven (1770-1827)

Ravi Shankar is an Indian composer known for his skills playing a sitar. The music was admired by the Beatles and Yehudi Menuhin. He was a disciple of Allauddin Khan (founder of the school of Indian classical music, Maihar Gharana), Pandit Ravi Shankar is an Indian instrumentalist known for his pioneering work that brings the power and charm of the Indian classical music tradition to the Western world. This is done through a partnership with The Beatles especially George Harrison as well as their own personal charisma. His musical career spans more than six decades and Shankar recently held the Guinness record for the longest international career.
 

5. Yehudi Mennin (1916-1999)


Yehudi Menuhin became known as a talented violinist at an early age. He demonstrated his first violin concert in public at the age of 7 years. He also led the orchestra and conducting music festivals. In 1963, he founded a music school in the UK for gifted children. Born in New York, USA, he moved to England in 1959 and remained there until the end.
 

6. George Gershwin (1898-1937)


George Gershwin's American classic style blends jazz and blues with America. He wrote Rhapsody in Blue  and the opera  Porgy and Bess
 

7. Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959)


Heitor Villa Lobos is a classical music composer who uses the melody and rhythm of Brazil with African influences to create a beautiful new style of music. He was one of the great composers of Latin America.
